Are You Social Distancing?

Published on 22 Apr

On the 23rd March 2020 at 8:30pm Boris Johnson announced that the whole of Britain was going into ‘lockdown’ for the next 3 weeks because of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

From that day on we were all given new strict rules to follow. These were to only leave the home to exercise once a day, travel from work when it is “absolutely necessary”, shop for essential items and to fulfil any medical or care needs.

We also have to ‘social distance’ ourselves from anyone outside of our households by maintaining a 2m distance.

Unless you have loss track time or have taken the rules to the next level you would know that the initial 3-week lockdown has passed, the coronavirus situation was reviewed and a 3 week lockdown extension has been set.

The whole of Britain has now been in lockdown for 31 days, some even more!

Do you really blame people for going a little bit crazy? Some people are losing the plot more than others… Conspiracy theorists now claim that 5G is linked to the coronavirus so they have been burning mobile phone masts.

It’s also a long time to go without seeing family, friends and colleagues. To get through this social distancing phase, some people have been bending the rules and others not even acknowledging them.

Are you sticking to the rules, but your housemate isn’t?

Most of us have had to deal with difficult housemates but right now wouldn’t be the best time to have one. Especially one that is ignoring the government rules regarding social distancing and staying at home unless ‘absolutely necessary’!

Imagine living with one that doesn’t even WASH THEIR HANDS!?

Just because you are healthy, young and ‘invincible’ doesn’t mean you can put other lives at risk.

No one is safe from this virus.

Stay at Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives.
