How long do you store my information and will you share my data with anybody?

Question:

How long do you store my information and will you share my data with anybody?

Our answer:

In accordance with our GDPR Policy, all information, including the results and DNA profiles are kept for 3 months following reporting stage and then securely destroyed.

We strongly recommend that you save a paper or electronic copy of the Test Report for future reference as your account login details will be deleted 12 months following reporting stage and we will have no access to your information.

If you lose the Test Report, we cannot re-issue this after 3 months following reporting stage and a new test would need to be ordered.

We will never share any of your details with any other organisation.

We are registered under the 1998 Data Protection Act. You can find more information about how we protect your privacy by reading our privacy policy.

  • The Ordering Party will have access to the Results Portal for 12 months following notification of report availability. After 12 months, access is removed.
  • It is important you retain a downloaded, electronic copy of your Test Report for future reference.
  • We will store case related details, including the Test Reports for 3 months following reporting stage.
  • After 3 months of report availability notification, we will be unable to re-issue your Test Report or answer any case specific questions.

If you would like us to retain your physical records, including the Test Report for longer than 3 months, there is a charge of £26 per year.
