What is the earliest a Prenatal Paternity Test can be performed?

For prenatal paternity testing on an unborn baby, from around 10 weeks of pregnancy, the mother’s blood usually contains enough foetal DNA to establish a match with the alleged father. It is possible to obtain a DNA profile earlier in gestation (after 7 weeks) but this can be unreliable and require a repeat test closer to 10 weeks gestation.
