Legal Paternity and Maternity DNA Testing

dadcheck® are on the Ministry of Justice list of approved companies for performing maternity and paternity DNA tests for legal use. This means our legal DNA tests can be used for immigration applications, change details on a Birth Certificate, the Courts, CSA/CMS amongst other legal reasons.

For legal DNA tests we must control the DNA sample collection and we undertake a protocol to identify the person providing the samples.  This will be undertaken by one of our registered samplers with the DNA test kit sent directly to our collectors. The samples then come directly back to our laboratory - maintaining what is often called a "chain of custody".
