What is a prenatal paternity test?

Question:

What is a prenatal paternity test?

Our answer:

Our prenatal paternity test uses a non-invasive method for determining the true biological father of an unborn baby. The test is performed by collecting and analysing DNA obtained from foetal DNA obtained via a simple blood sample from the expectant mother after 10 weeks’ gestation. We then compare this to a DNA sample taken from the alleged father.

The kit contains two swabs for one alleged father. If you would like to test two alleged fathers at the same time, there will be an additional cost and we will provide additional swabs for the second alleged father.
